New Releases: House of the Dragon & Supergirl

Dragons over Westeros and a Kryptonian over Metropolis — our members had quite the week!

First, House of the Dragon Season 3 premieres on HBO and HBO Max this Sunday, continuing the Targaryen civil war as Rhaenyra Targaryen and her half-brother Aegon II fight for the claim to the Iron Throne. With Rhaenyra's army of dragons seemingly poised for victory, Aegon II fleeing the capital, and a fraught bargain struck with Alicent, this is set to be the most explosive season yet. Eleven Guild members were part of bringing this one to life: Kevin De La Noy (Executive Producer), Danny Gulliver (Producer), Adam Hughes (Production Manager), Joanna Osborn (Production Manager), Sam Fell (Production Manager), Elliott Cobley (Production Coordinator), Linus Gibson (Assistant Production Coordinator), Fabian Ramirez (Payroll Supervisor), Rafael De Souza (Payroll Accountant), Georgina Oates (Assistant Accountant) and Will Orpin (SFX Coordinator). 

And in cinemas, Supergirl brings DC's newest hero to the big screen — Milly Alcock stars as the Kryptonian cousin of Superman, carving out her own corner of the DC Universe in a film already being tipped as one of the standout releases of the summer. Nine Guild members were central to the production: Nessa King (Production Controller), Michael Mann (Production Manager, Additional Photography), Sofia Guiotto (Production Supervisor, Additional Photography), Mark Bradford (Post Production Coordinator), Shyam Bansropun (Assistant Production Coordinator), Suzanna Rajnai (Assistant Production Coordinator), Nilema Begum (Greens Coordinator), Zuzana Von Schlippe (Payroll Supervisor) and Isaac Burke (Payroll Accountant, upgraded from Payroll Supervisor).
