New Releases: Silo S3, Young Washington & Enola Holmes 3!

A Founding Father, an underground bunker and a teenage detective's mother — our members covered some ground this week. 

Enola Holmes 3 arrived on Netflix on 1st July — the latest instalment in the beloved franchise following the irrepressible younger sister of Sherlock Holmes as she takes on a new mystery in Victorian London. Six Guild members were part of the production: Winston Azzopardi (Co-Producer), Michael Dreyer (Produced By), Lorraine Edwards (Production Supervisor), Pamela Joyce (Unit Production Manager), Saad Chaudhry (Assistant Accountant) and Julia Hutchison (ATL Payroll Accountant). Then, on today, Silo returns for Season 3 on Apple TV+ — the gripping dystopian thriller set in a vast underground bunker, where the residents believe it to be the last safe place on Earth after the world outside became toxic. Three Guild members were central to the production: Roslyn Hill (Line Producer), Alastair McNeil (Production Accountant) and Nathan Francis (Post Production Assistant Accountant).

And also landing today, Young Washington tells the untold story of a young George Washington — before he was the Father of a Nation, he was a soldier fighting to survive, thrust into the centre of a global conflict that tested his honour, loyalty and courage. Directed by Jon Erwin and starring Golden Globe winners Kelsey Grammer and Mary-Louise Parker, alongside Academy Award winner Ben Kingsley and William Franklyn-Miller as the title role, this historical war epic opens in theatres on the eve of America's 250th anniversary celebrations. Guild member Kevin Blood served as Production Controller on the production.
