The Fantastic Four: First Steps & More

In new releases this week, we’re highlighting The Fantastic Four: First Steps, starring Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Joseph Quinn. The latest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this action-packed film follows the iconic superhero team as they defend Earth from Galactus, a cosmic entity threatening to consume the planet, and his mysterious Herald, the Silver Surfer. Filming primarily took place at Pinewood Studios; other UK locations include Dorset and Derbyshire. The Fantastic Four: First Steps is now in UK cinemas.

New episodes of the hit series The Sandman are now available on Netflix. The series revolves around Dream—the personification of dreams—who, after decades of imprisonment by a mortal wizard, escapes and sets out to reclaim his lost tools of power. The fantasy drama was filmed across multiple UK locations, including Shepperton Studios in Surrey, Sussex, Dorset, Kent and London.

PGGB Members Lara Doree, Nancy Jiang, Ann-Marie Fitzgerald and Oleta Husbands worked on the production, alongside PGGB Partners and Affiliates Sargent Disc, Sara Putt Associates, Gallagher Entertainment, Aggreko UK Ltd, Spotlight Studios, Loop Talent, CineArk, CAMA, Entertainment Partners, Kent Film Office and Panavision.

Finally, the detective drama Bookish, which follows a bookshop owner in 1946 London who helps the police solve crimes, is currently airing on U&Alibi.
