The Family Plan 2 & More

In new releases this week, we’re highlighting The Family Plan 2, an action comedy starring Mark Wahlberg, Michelle Monaghan and Kit Harington. The film follows a former government operative whose quiet Christmas vacation in London is disrupted when a mysterious figure from his past shows up with unfinished business. Set and filmed in London, The Family Plan 2 is now streaming on Apple TV+.

Also new in film this week is Wicked: For Good, the second of a two-part feature film adaptation of the Broadway musical, starring Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo. The musical fantasy film was mainly filmed at Sky Studios Elstree in Hertfordshire and landed in UK cinemas this week.

New in TV this week is The Death of Bunny Munro, revolving around a misogynistic middle-aged salesman who uses his door-to-door beauty products to meet women. An adaptation of the Nick Cave novel of the same name, the series stars Matt Smith, who also served as Executive Producer, alongside Nick Cave. The six-part television series was filmed at several locations in Sussex, including Brighton and Eastbourne, and premiered on Sky Atlantic and NOW earlier this week.

PGGB Member Hannah McCartney worked on the production, alongside PGGB Partners and Affiliates Media Insurance Brokers Ltd, Audiolink and Entertainment Partners.

And finally, new on Channel 4 is the Scottish drama series Summerwater. The six-part series follows a group of holidaymakers in a rural Scottish holiday park, dealing with hidden tensions and personal struggles.
