New Release: Alice & Steve

Not every week needs four releases to feel like a big one. This week, Alice & Steve does all the heavy lifting. 

Alice & Steve landed on Disney+ this week — all six episodes dropping at once. When Alice's best friend Steve starts dating her 26-year-old daughter, what was once a perfect friendship tips into an all-out feud — as Alice attempts to destroy the relationship and Steve anticipates her every move. Created by Sophie Goodhart, directed by Tom Kingsley and starring Nicola Walker and Jemaine Clement, it's sharp, funny and brilliantly uncomfortable — the kind of British comedy that gets under your skin in the best possible way. Having already won Best Series, Special Interpretation Award and Student Award at Canneseries 2026, the critical buzz around this one was well earned.
