In new releases from this week, we continue to round up January’s biggest productions, and the PGGB Members and Partners who played a vital role in bringing them to the screen.
First up, there’s the decade-spanning, deeply moving romance We Live in Time, starring Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh. The film, which premiered at London Film Festival in October, features the work of five PGGB Members alongside nine Partners and Affiliates.
Also in film, January saw the release of another decade-spanning drama, the Tom Hanks-starring Here, which covers the lifespan a Philadelphia home and its inhabitants. Three PGGB Members worked on the production, alongside six Partners and Affiliates.
January also saw the release of Pablo Larraín’s dramatic retelling of the life of Maria Callas, Maria, starring Angelina Jolie as the legendary singer. Two PGGB Members and two Partners were involved in the production.
In television, Lockerbie: A Search for Truth, a dramatisation of the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 and the search for justice by Dr Jim Swire (Colin Firth) is streaming with Sky Atlantic now. Eight PGGB Members worked on the production, as well as eight Partners and Affiliates.
Finally in our latest January round-up, ITV released the devastating child-swap thriller Playing Nice. Two PGGB Members worked on the series, alongside six Partners and Affiliates.
