In new releases this week, we’re highlighting the action spy thriller The Amateur, starring Rami Malek as a CIA cryptographer who blackmails his agency into training him so he can hunt down the terrorists who killed his wife. The Hutch Parker Entertainment and 20th Century Studios production was filmed at Pinewood Studios and at various locations around London and opens in UK cinemas on 11th April 2025.

New in TV this week is the seventh season of the Netflix hit series Black Mirror, featuring new sci-fi stories about a dystopian future. The star-studded cast includes Cristin Milioti, Paul Giamatti, Awkwafina, Rashida Jones and Issa Rae. All six episodes will be released in the UK on 10th April, available to stream on Netflix.
