Operations Executive

This is a diverse position focused on the home video distribution of the business, including website operations, customer services, stock control and financial data reporting, and will require the successful candidate to learn a variety of processes.

Enthusiasm, initiative, and an interest in home video are essential for success. The successful candidate will be very hands-on, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. There is always help or support needed somewhere in our team. The right candidate can further develop their knowledge and responsibilities within the operations and logistics areas of the business, gaining an understanding of film distribution and licensing.

Key responsibilities:

• Answer customer queries via email and social media dealing with complaints, refunds, cancellations etc.
• Stock control including ordering and moving stock between warehouses
• Tracking stock orders and deliveries to our distribution locations
• Collating and filing taxes with various tax authorities
• Monthly membership coordination
• Liaising with external Distribution teams
• Tracking sales data and internal reporting
• Ad hoc production support

Essential Skills:

• High attention to detail
• Strong command of written English
• Confident working with figures including running calculations and delivering financial reports
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other Office and Google packages
• Well organised and able to juggle multiple tasks
• Strong communication skills, able to deal with people at all levels internally and externally
• A love and good knowledge of cinema and physical media
• Hands-on and willing to help during busy periods
• A motivated self-starter with a ‘can-do’ attitude

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge or experience in e-commerce or financial administration
• Knowledge or experience of using databases or CMS systems
