Advisor in Production Sustainability

We are hiring an Advisor in Production Sustainability.

Picture Zero is a leading provider of sustainability services to the film and television industry. We believe that sustainability and creativity should thrive alongside one another, and that the screen industries can drive transformative action on climate. We exist to make that happen.

The Advisor leads our work. You will take productions from the first conversation through to wrap, build client relationships, own project outcomes, and lead a small team of Managers and Coordinators. Some of it is strategy and reporting. Most of it is practical – built on relationships, and about bringing people with you rather than telling them what to do.

We are looking for someone who understands how a production runs and the challenges and opportunities in our sector. You will be comfortable with carbon footprinting and reporting, and familiar with industry standards including BAFTA Albert certification. The instinct that matters most is the ability to earn the trust of production leadership, departments and crew, and the desire to stay with them until the new ways of working become the normal ones.

The Advisor is a broad and varied role. We don’t expect candidates to come to the role fully formed, with an equal depth of expertise across all areas. If you bring real production experience and a serious commitment to sustainability, we can help you grow the rest.
