Asset Management Department Lead (Freelance)

Overview
We’re looking for a freelancer to lead asset management across multiple productions, overseeing the full lifecycle of physical production assets. This role focuses on visibility, cost control, and strategic planning for storage, retention, and disposition.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a master asset calendar across shows (storage, leases, strike timelines, disposition)

• Track and report on all asset-related costs (storage, logistics, labor, etc.)

• Build simple cost models for hold vs. strike scenarios

• Manage vendors for resale, auctions, and donations

• Create clear monthly reporting on asset exposure, costs, and risks

Qualifications

• Experience in production, operations, or asset management

• Strong organizational and analytical skills

• Comfortable working with data (Airtable, Excel, etc.)

• Experience with vendors and logistics a plus
