The Forsytes & More

In new releases this week, we are highlighting the Channel 5 original The Forsytes, a period drama following the lives, loves, trials and triumphs of a wealthy Victorian family. An adaptation of John Galsworthy’s Forsyte Saga novels, the series was filmed at The Bottle Yard Studios and on location in Bristol and is now available to watch on Channel 5.

Also new in TV this week is Amazon Prime Video’s Lazarus, starring Bill Nighy, Alexandra Roach and Sam Claflin. After experiencing a personal loss, forensic psychologist Lazarus begins having disturbing experiences that can't be explained. UK filming locations include Manchester, Liverpool and Morecambe in Lancashire.

PGGB Member Mark Devlin worked on the production, alongside PGGB Partners and Affiliates Space Studios Manchester, Team Engine, Audiolink and Loop Talent.

And finally, Sally Wainwright's Riot Women is now available to watch on BBC. The show, filmed in and around the Calderdale area of West Yorkshire, follows a group of middle-aged women as they form a punk-rock band to participate in a talent contest.
