In new releases this week, we’re highlighting the Netflix action thriller film Havoc starring Tom Hardy as a bruised detective who must fight his way through the criminal underworld to rescue a politician's estranged son. Supported by Creative Wales, the film was predominantly produced in Cardiff and across South Wales and will be released on Netflix this week.

The drama series I, Jack Wright, now available to watch on U&Alibi, revolves around the mysterious death of a wealthy patriarch, who leaves behind a shocking, unexpected will.

Coming to Amazon Prime this week is the action film Den of Thieves: Pantera. In this sequel to the 2018 heist thriller Den of Thieves, Gerard Butler and O’Shea Jackson Jr. return to plot a massive heist of the world's largest diamond exchange.

Also new in film this week is the drama film The Salt Path, starring Gillian Anderson and Jason Isaacs as a married couple who lose their home and decide to embark on a year-long coastal trek. Based on the 2018 memoir of the same name by Raynor Winn, The Salt Path was filmed at several locations across the UK, including Dorset, Cornwall and Devon. The biographical drama film premiered at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival and will come to UK cinemas this week.

Also coming to UK cinemas this week is the survival supernatural horror film Until Dawn, an adaptation of the 2015 hit horror game of the same name and revolving around a group of friends trapped in a time loop of death.
