Havoc & More

In new releases this week, we’re highlighting the Netflix action thriller film Havoc starring Tom Hardy as a bruised detective who must fight his way through the criminal underworld to rescue a politician's estranged son. Supported by Creative Wales, the film was predominantly produced in Cardiff and across South Wales and will be released on Netflix this week.

PGGB Members Sarah Dibsdall, Jennifer Wynne, Juliette Woodcock, Matthew Spooner, Jonathan Harris, Julian Murray, Amanda Fernie, Karin Mercurio, Samantha Glen and Bryoni Askew were involved in the production, alongside PGGB Partners and Affiliates Great Point Studios, Facilities by ADF, Compass Travel Management, Creative Wales, Team Engine, BCD Media & Entertainment, Audiolink, Digital Orchard, Sunbelt Rentals, Sargent-Disc, CineArk and Supply 2 Location Group.

The drama series I, Jack Wright, now available to watch on U&Alibi, revolves around the mysterious death of a wealthy patriarch, who leaves behind a shocking, unexpected will.

PGGB Member Talha Pirzada worked on the production, alongside London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, SK Media Rooms, Moving Picture Logistics, SetKeeper, Team Engine, Tysers, Film Offices UK: Buckinghamshire Film Office, CAMA, Trevanna London LTD, Audiolink, The Base Camp Co., Panavision, Entertainment Partners, Sargent-Disc, Location One, CineArk and FIlmFixer.

Coming to Amazon Prime this week is the action film Den of Thieves: Pantera. In this sequel to the 2018 heist thriller Den of Thieves, Gerard Butler and O’Shea Jackson Jr. return to plot a massive heist of the world's largest diamond exchange.

PGGB Members Debbie Moore and Laura Mateos Sanvicens worked on the production, alongside PGGB Partners and Affiliates Trevanna London LTD, Entertainment Partners, Sargent-Disc and CineArk.

Also new in film this week is the drama film The Salt Path, starring Gillian Anderson and Jason Isaacs as a married couple who lose their home and decide to embark on a year-long coastal trek. Based on the 2018 memoir of the same name by Raynor Winn, The Salt Path was filmed at several locations across the UK, including Dorset, Cornwall and Devon. The biographical drama film premiered at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival and will come to UK cinemas this week.

PGGB Member Karolina Majka worked on the production, alongside PGGB Partners and Affiliates Tysers, Facilities by ADF, Compass Travel Management, Audiolink, Sara Putt Associates, Panalux, Sargent-Disc and Location Safety Ltd.

Also coming to UK cinemas this week is the survival supernatural horror film Until Dawn, an adaptation of the 2015 hit horror game of the same name and revolving around a group of friends trapped in a time loop of death.

PGGB Member Jim Hajacosta worked on the production, alongside PGGB Partners and Affiliates Entertainment Partners and Sargent-Disc.

Finally, the crime drama series Safe Harbor, about a gifted hacker trying to crack into the tech billionaires' club, is now available to stream on ITVX.

PGGB Member Berry van Zwieten worked on the production.
