In new releases from PGGB Members and Partners this week, we're highlighting the true story of competitive swimmer Trudy Ederle, played by Daisy Ridley, and her journey to defy the odds and become the first woman to swim the English channel in 1926.
Despite the enormity of the challenge, Trudy must also navigate a society that doesn’t believe her dream is possible. Through the steadfast support of her older sister, she overcame adversity to to rise through the ranks and complete the staggering achievement – a 21-mile trek from France to England.
