In our new releases from PGGB members and partners this week, we're highlighting:
Yorgos Lanthimos' latest, which tells the incredible tale of the fantastical evolution of Bella Baxter (Emma Stone), a young woman brought back to life by the brilliant and unorthodox Dr. Godwin Baxter (Willem Dafoe). Poor Things has been dominating this years award season, with the gothic fairytale comedy scoring eleven nominations for the upcoming 96th Academy Awards, and is in cinemas now. Four PGGB Members and one Partner worked on the production.
Also in cinemas this week, spy action comedy Argylle features an all-star ensemble cast, and tells the tale of a reclusive author who realises the plot of the new book she's writing is starting to mirror real-world events, in real time. Fifteen PGGB Members and eleven Partners were involved in the production.
Also in cinemas, All of Us Strangers, starring Andrew Scott and Paul Mescal, sees a screenwriter drawn back to his childhood home while he enters into a fledgling relationship with a mysterious neighbour. The production featured two Members and one Partner.
Finally, on Netflix, in a dystopian future London where all social housing has been eliminated, Izi and Benji fight to navigate the world as residents of The Kitchen, a community that refuses to abandon their home. The feature directorial debut of actor Daniel Kaluuya and Kibwe Tavares can be streamed now, and five PGGB Members and two Partners worked on the film.
Take an in-depth look at who's worked on these productions below.
