In our new releases from PGGB members and partners this week, we're highlighting:
The ultimate tennis match, Challengers, from visionary filmmaker Luca Guadagnino, served in cinemas from today. The film stars Zendaya as Tashi Duncan, a former tennis prodigy turned coach. Married to a champion on a losing streak (Mike Faist), Tashi's strategy for her husband's redemption takes a surprising turn when he must face off against his former best friend and Tashi's ex-boyfriend (Josh O'Connor). As pasts and presents collide, Tashi must ask herself, what will it cost to win? One Member and one Partner were involved in this film.
In television, Red Eye landed on ITV earlier this week, and the airborne thriller tells the story of London police officer DC Hana Li (Jing Lusi) as she escorts Dr Matthew Nolan (Richard Armitage) back to Beijing to stand trial - only for the flight itself to become a crime scene. Two Members and seven Partners worked on this show.
Finally, Ryan Sampson writes and stars in a new comedy series, Mr Bigstuff, which follows estranged brothers, Glen and Lee, who try to patch up a sibling rivalry that may well be beyond repair. The show, coming to Sky in Spring, sees Danny Dyer make his television comedy debut, and one Member and six Partners being part of this production.
