In new releases this week, we’re highlighting the psychological drama Anemone, Ronan Day-Lewis’s feature directorial debut. He co-wrote the screenplay with his father, Daniel Day-Lewis, who is also starring in the film, alongside Sean Bean and Samantha Morton. Set in Yorkshire in the late 1980s and filmed across the North West of England and Wales, the drama explores the complex and profound ties that exist between brothers, fathers, and sons. Anemone is currently screening in select US cinemas, with a UK release scheduled for 7th November.
