Valeria Bullo

Experienced Production Wellbeing and Inclusion Consultant with a strong passion for behaviour change in the TV and film industry. A people leader with experience working across Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Human Resources, Education, and Mental Health. Proven track record of establishing important industry partnerships and supporting creative talent pipelines, particularly focused on creating opportunities for traditionally under represented groups. With a 20-year history in a wide range of high-level production experience including; physical on-set production and in-house developmental work. I work with productions, streamers, production companies and individuals to create a wellbeing and inclusion strategy. I deliver master classes, training and workshops, as well as hosting panels and giving talks. My recent clients include Sony Pictures Entertainment, Rakuten TV, WFTV Ireland, WFTV Italy to name a few. I am multi-lingual so I also work internationally.

Experienced in leading and implementing change with wellbeing and mental health within the industry. During my tenure at the Film and TV Charity, I created the first-of-its-kind toolkit for mentally healthy productions (https://wholepicturetoolkit.org.uk/) as part of the Whole Picture programme.

Valeria started her film career in corporate films and documentaries before moving into independent feature films, working for companies such as Revolution and Warp. She worked her way up through the ranks of production, eventually undertaking roles working on big budget studio feature films for Warner Brothers, Universal and Disney, including INCEPTION and MAD MAX: FURY ROAD.
In her role at Pathe, from 2014 to 2019, Valeria helped to oversee and support each production from development through to distribution. During her time at Pathe she worked on award-winning projects such as PRIDE, SELMA and SUFFRAGETTE.

Valeria spent the last 1.5 yrs working as Director of Production Inclusion and wellbeing for Sony Pictures Entertainment. She is currently working as a Film & TV Wellbeing & Inclusion Consultant for the screen industries both in the UK and internationally. She is continuing to work for Sony in her consultancy role, as well as for streamers such as Rakuten TV, WFTV ITALY & WFT IRELAND.
