What is the Media Careers Podcast?
Media Careers Podcast aims to provide information and inspiration to change lives for the better.
The Media Careers Podcast is delivered in partnership with Into Film, supported by the BFI, awarding National Lottery funding.
What does it hope to do?
We aim to inspire and engage diverse young people from across the globe to take up a career in the media industry. The podcast will educate and inform young people, parents, teachers & schools about this vibrant and dynamic industry and critically how to get a job within it.
The Media Careers Podcast is led by Carrie Wootten. Carrie has spent the last twenty years working within the media and education sector driving diversity and inclusion across the industry.
Carrie has always been passionate about supporting young people entering the industry and was the Co-Founder of the Rise Up Academy. Through this podcast she hopes to reach as many young people as possible to provide them with the tools and information on the breadth and variety of roles across the industry and what skillsets they might need to succeed.
