Creative Diversity Network is working to put equality at the heart of UK broadcasting, helping the industry measure, understand and improve diversity through collaboration and data-led insight.
We are developing a new and improved version of our diversity data collection tool and research programme, Diamond. To make sure the changes work for the TV community and support a smooth switch, we’re developing partnerships, running sessions, and making resources for cast, crew and creative companies across the UK. We are also working on plans to enable and encourage participation once Diamond is live.
We’re looking for an organised, people-focused Television Industry Engagement Officer to collaborate on partnership, outreach and education activities with broadcasters, production companies, and post-production companies; unions, trade bodies, and industry bodies; and staff, cast and crew.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll play an important role in helping the television workforce to engage with Diamond 2.0 by:
Building relationships with all groups that will be using Diamond: cast & crew, production companies, post-production companies, industry bodies and broadcasters
Strengthening organisational partnerships across the industry
Driving engagement and education activities and approach
Planning and delivering meetings, workshops and events
Being Diamond’s friendly first point of contact
Keeping diaries, logistics, actions and timelines running smoothly
Capturing detailed notes, actions, and insight summaries from sessions
Preparing agendas, briefings, presentations and key project materials
Creating welcoming, inclusive and accessible environments where people feel comfortable sharing feedback and experiences
Collaborating on varied engagement activities and pitching in across the project as needed
This is a hands-on role combining strategic engagement with ownership of delivery, including event coordination and administration.
