Join OnBio Ltd, a pioneering family-run business at the forefront of the sustainable transition in the UK film & TV industry. We are a specialist renewable fuel delivery as well as industrial heating and cooling hire company serving major film and TV productions in London and the South East.
We are looking for an experienced Payroll & Accounts Administrator to take ownership of our financial operations for 4 to 8 weeks whilst we look for a permanent Finance Manager. We’re looking for someone familiar with Xero, who is willing to roll up their sleeves and help to keep on top of the payroll for our 10 employees, processing bill payments and invoicing as well as maintaining the client invoice tracker.
If you are a hands-on finance professional who enjoys variety, thrives in a dynamic friendly environment, able to hit the ground running and are available on a short term basis whilst you wait for more permanent film work to come up, this could be the perfect role for you.
Duties (Day-to-Day)
Credit Control
• New account forms – create, update, and input into system/file in client folder
• Create and send client invoices
• Send remittances and statements to clients
• Reconcile incoming and outgoing payments in Xero
• Maintain client invoice tracker
• Action client invoice queries
• Create and reconcile client credit notes in Xero
• Chase overdue client payments (escalate to director as needed)
• Request credit reports (Experian) and set credit limits for new clients
Purchasing and Accounts Payable
• Raise POs with suppliers where needed
• Input receipts and invoices into Xero
• Post and approve bills in Xero (agreed bills to be sent to draft for Director approval)
• Pay bills – setting up payments in Monzo
HR & Payroll
• Payroll spreadsheet – collate monthly and send to accountants
• Collate private mileages for payroll (monthly)
• Set up wage payments in banking app (monthly)
• Set up payment to HMRC (monthly)
• Maintain BrightHR (Holiday and Overtime system)
