An Independent Production Company are packaging a lean, financeable version of a UK Independent Feature film named 'Violet in Violence' and seeking an experienced feature film Line Producer for a short paid budget-and-schedule consultancy to help stress test the production model. 

Writer-director packaging a lean, financeable version of an independent UK feature is seeking an experienced feature line producer for a short paid budget-and-schedule consultancy.

The project is a neon-drenched, mildly dystopian London crime-romance set in a world of biker gangs, escorts, drugs, violence and doomed love — closer tonally to Drive, The Crow and A Clockwork Orange than a conventional crime film. It has action, bikes, night work, heightened visual elements and a strong genre identity. The script and proof of concept have already had strong industry response, including engagement from WME and high-end US production companies. A proof-of-concept trailer is available to shortlisted applicants.

The initial brief would be to read the script and prepare:

• a script breakdown;
• schedule assumptions;
• rough budget versions at approximately £1m, £1.5m and £3m;
• a cost-driver memo identifying what would need to change at each level;
• notes on UK incentive / regional production assumptions, and whether overseas second-unit filming could reduce overheads without diminishing production model.
• and a recommended makeable route for the film.

This is an initial consultancy rather than a full production attachment at this stage. The fee would be a modest fixed fee in the region of £2,500–£3,500 depending on scope and experience, with the possibility of further paid work if the project moves forward.

Applicants should have experience budgeting independent features, and should be able to share relevant credits, availability, and examples of similar budget levels they have worked at.
