We are seeking a Coordinator to work directly with the Director of Post Production for the UK, assisting them to execute a significant slate of projects. The Director of Post Production sits at the intersection of our local and global teams, is responsible for the strategy and execution of Netflix’s production innovation priorities, works with the industry to ensure post production resources, and manages industry engagement and outreach. All of this supports the creation of great stories for our members.
A successful candidate is adept at managing diverse responsibilities, maintaining strong organization, and supporting projects independently with careful attention to detail. Able to navigate a fast-paced environment, this role exercises sound judgment, communicates clearly, and collaborates effectively with multiple stakeholders across time zones and cultures.
Duties and Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
Operational Management of Initiatives: Create documents and artifacts to support, communicate with, and educate stakeholders. Gather and track feedback.
Event Management: Plan and execute internal and external meetings, offsites, and partner events, ensuring logistics and materials are handled with precision.
Training and Education Support: Support, track, and, where appropriate, deliver internal and external training for post and innovation programs.
Resource Tracking and Management: Collate and internally manage resource information to ensure post and production teams are fully informed.
Executive Support: Provide executive-level support including complex diary management, travel coordination (domestic and international), and expense processing.
Meetings and Operations: Schedule and prepare team meetings, manage agendas, capture minutes and action items, and support follow-through on key decisions.
Project Tracking: Track project milestones and deliverables, keeping the team informed of progress and critical deadlines.
Process Improvement: Support the use of internal systems and tools, helping identify opportunities for increased efficiency, automation, and streamlined workflows.
Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate with local and global stakeholders to align working methods across cross-functional teams.
Representation: Represent the Director of Post Production in various environments to support timely messaging across a wide slate.
Core Qualifications
Experience in a Post Production role (typically 5 or more years).
Interest in innovation within the entertainment space.
Understanding of high-end post production technologies and workflows (Dailies, Editorial, VFX, Delivery).
Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and adaptability with new technology tools.
Ability to collaborate across time zones, cultures, and functions.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, finding creative and resourceful solutions.
Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.
Ability to prioritize effectively while remaining adaptable amid change.
Organization skills focused on identifying efficiencies.
Curiosity about new technologies and AI tools, with enthusiasm for exploring how they enhance productivity and communication.
