Talent Development Fund

The Talent Development Fund is a £500,000, three-year training programme, funded in partnership with Netflix and Entertainment Partners.

The programme is designed for mid-level production office positions, in accounts, production management and line producing, with the aim of delivering a large number of trained personnel into the industry for the long term, as a commitment to UK production and talent development.

The programme is delivering 18 training courses across a 3 year period.

Courses include:

  • Step Up to Production Accountant
  • 1st Assistant Production Accountant Training
  • Introduction to and Step Up to Production Management
  • Introduction to Line Producer Training.

Upskilling talent outside of London is important to us and working with our centres in the nations and regions.  In year 1 we ran an Intro to Production Management course in Cardiff and for year 2 are running a Step Up to Production Accountant course and Step Up to Production Management course in Glasgow and a Step Up to Production Accountant course in Manchester.

Our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) provides an interactive platform to set assignments, resources and track progress of the participants beyond the course.

On top of the initial training and continued community through VLE, any trainees who are non-members get the chance to become one of our PGGB Alumni, with a six month complimentary taster of our services. on completion of the course.  We also curate yearly online sessions exclusively for all TDF alumni to join and networking drinks for TDF alumni.   It means that we can keep in touch and further assist professional development and keep the learning community going long after the course itself has finished.
