Panavision announces EMEA leadership structure

After 43 years of distinguished service, Jeff Allen, Managing Director of EMEA Operations for Panavision, is retiring effective 30th September.

With Allen’s transition, Terra Bliss, currently Vice President and General Manager of Panavision New York, will relocate to the U.K. and assume the role of Managing Director of Camera for U.K. and Ireland. Mark Furssedonn will be promoted to Managing Director from his current role as Group Operations Director, EMEA, to oversee the additional key camera operations in Europe and South Africa as well as lighting operations in South Africa and France.

Additionally, Hugh Whittaker will now serve as Managing Director, EMEA Client Relations and Business Development, working on cross-portfolio sales within the region. Whittaker will maintain his responsibilities as head of sales for U.K. Camera. David Taaffe, COO of Panalux, will assume responsibility for Panalux’s overall sales and transportation, formerly overseen for the U.K. by Whittaker and Furssedonn, respectively.

These new appointments will be effective 1st October.
