Join the Film and TV Charity for an introduction to The Whole Picture Toolkit for Mentally Healthy Productions. The Whole Picture Toolkit is an online resource created by the Film and TV Charity and a coalition of industry partners, freelancers and experts.
It gives those working on film and TV productions the practical tips and tools they need to improve working environments, attitudes and the well-being of everyone, from writers and script editors, technical crew, production, location teams, through to VFX and post teams.
This is for all Production Guild members, but especially important for anyone with line management responsibilities, from producers to production and location managers, working on anything from multi-million-dollar movies to low-budget indie features, continuous drama, comedy and shorts.

Looking Glass Survey 2024
The Film and TV Charity recently published their Looking Glass Survey 2024, a mental health survey for behind-the-scenes workers. Over 4,300 film, TV, and cinema workers responded to the 2024 Looking Glass survey. The results paint a bleak picture of the state of mental health and wellbeing in the industry, with self-ratings of mental health at their lowest level across the five-year history of the research.
