About the Role
The role will mainly focus on the management of Head Gear’s investment portfolio, including driving the company’s fundraising initiatives and leading the structuring and implementation of new investment opportunities. The role requires a strong, analytical background and advanced Excel skills
Key duties / responsibilities include:
• Perform portfolio level analyses on the company’s current loans and investments
• Track financial performance at a portfolio level, including IRR, CoC and other metrics
• Perform and present data analysis on historical loans on an ad hoc basis
• Build relationships with potential new investors
• Prepare and present investor decks
• Manage relationship with key partners during strategic planning, implementation, and delivery stages of new joint ventures
• Undertake necessary key due diligence to analyse and greenlight new venture, including modelling, negotiating, and underwriting
• Create portfolio overview that actively monitors concentration limits, exposure, and returns of company’s investments
• Actively analyse potential opportunities and assess eligibility based on portfolio criteria
• Review and strategize optimal portfolio route to inform decisions in greenlighting media projects
Necessary skills and traits are:
• Outstanding attention to detail and organisational skills
• Demonstrable experience of successfully managing multiple, time-sensitive tasks
• Advanced Excel skills, including ability to create dynamic financial models and derive insights from data
• Improving efficiency through ability to automate and streamline workflows and eliminate manual errors
• Proficiency in PowerPoint (or similar) to effectively communicate data insights
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrable problem-solving abilities
• Understanding of data flow processes
Nice to haves:
• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with dashboard platforms like Tableau or Power BI
• Knowledge of the entertainment value chain
• Working knowledge of financial markets
• Experience in an investment role
