Media Partnership Co-ordinator

Purpose of the post
The freelancer will work with the European Film Academy on developing audience outreach strategies, with the aim to increase the digital impact of the work the Academy does, predominantly in European countries, and beyond. This is part of the Academy’s positioning as a central and key player in promoting European film to general audiences, including young audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, research, and cultivate relationships with relevant media outlets (print, broadcast, online) and industry publications.
• Develop and execute media outreach campaigns to generate press coverage and increase brand visibility.
• Build and maintain media lists and track media coverage.
• Monitor media mentions and analyse media coverage to measure campaign effectiveness.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and support media partnership initiatives.
• Remain abreast of media trends and industry news.
• Maintain accurate records of all media outreach activities and partnership agreements.
• Support for European Film Awards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in media relations, public relations, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• High level of English is essential and knowledge of other European languages is an advantage
