Alex Boden

Alex is an award-winning UK film and TV producer specialising in international productions, with extensive experience working with the USA, Germany and Japan. He is a voting member of BAFTA, the European Film Academy (EFA), the Producers Guild of America (PGA), and the Television Academy.

Alex most recently produced 2 seasons of the (HBO) Max crime drama series TOKYO VICE with Ansel Elgort and Ken Watanabe, the first international series to film entirely in Japan.

Alex’s other recent credits, include: Terence Malick’s latest film, starring Sir Ben Kingsley and Sir Mark Rylance; Frank Miller and Tom Wheeler’s Netflix fantasy/ adventure series CURSED; SENSE8, the ground-breaking Netflix series from the Wachowskis, for which he was nominated for  a Producers Guild of America Award in 2019; the fantasy epic CLOUD ATLAS starring Tom Hanks and Halle Berry; the documentary feature PULP; Three films for the Scandi-Noir film anthology INTRIGO; and the Fantasporto award-winning thriller THE HOLDING.

Alex is a board member and former Chair of PGGB and a DIAG member and mentor. He is also a Board Member and Mentor at Stowe Story Labs (Vermont, USA) and supports various charities, including the Woolf Institute.
