This online event celebrates PGGB’s three-year programme to upskill the industry and takes place on Wednesday 18th March, 12.30pm-1.30pm.
PGGB's Talent Development Fund (TDF) was a £500,000, three-year training programme, funded in partnership with Netflix and Entertainment Partners, and launched at the beginning of 2023.
The programme was designed for mid-level production office positions, in accounts, production management and line producing, with the aim of delivering a large number of trained personnel into the industry for the long-term, as part of a shared commitment to UK production and talent development.
Since completing one of the 18 free courses run across the UK, 40% of TDF participants have stepped up in their careers, with 78% enjoying greater responsibility on set.
As the three-year programme comes to an end, this panel session will feature four participants from the course who will share their journeys, including the success they have found stepping up in Production and Production Accounting after the training. We’ll also hear from the course leaders, as well as our partners Netflix and Entertainment Partners, as we celebrate the success of the programme and its 166 trainees.
Panel sessions participants:
Sarah Grieve (Production Accountant)
Adanna Adams (Production Manager)
Shyam Bansropun (Assistant Production Coordinator)
Charlie Doult (1st Assistant Accountant)
