Thank you to everyone who came to our summer drinks reception at The Bloomsbury. It was wonderful to see so many familiar and new faces.
During the event, we were saddened to learn of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, who had been a great supporter of the UK film and television industry. Her patronages included the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, the Royal Variety Charity and the Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund (Film & Television Charity). In 2013, The Queen received her own BAFTA in recognition of The Queen’s outstanding patronage of the film and television industries.
In tribute, our members and partners joined us in a toast to the Queen’s life, celebrating her support for our industry and all she has achieved during her incredible reign. Our thoughts are with our Royal Patron HRH The Earl of Wessex and The Royal Family.
