In this week's new releases from Production Guild members we return to the world of Thra in a new adventure, as power-hungry overlords drain life from the planet opposed by a brave group of heroes on a quest to save the world. The Dark Crystal: Age or Resistance is now available on Netflix.
Streaming on Amazon Prime Video is neo-noir Carnival Row starring Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne. The series is set around the investigation on unsolved murders against the back drop of political tensions with mythical creates who have recently arrived in the city having fled their war-torn homeland.
In theatres we are treated to one of the most critically acclaimed films of the year with The Souvenir. It tells the story of a young film student in the early '80s who becomes romantically involved with a complicated and untrustworthy man. In The Informer we see an ex-convict working undercover who intentionally gets himself incarcerated again in order to infiltrate the mob at a maximum-security prison.
Also continuing this week with its final episode was the fifth season of Poldark..
