Pioneer Film Studios announced today the addition of Panalux, a leading provider of lighting equipment to the film, television, and entertainment industry, as the latest partner to join the growing community with a presence at Pioneer Film Studios in Glasgow, Scotland.
With over 35 years of experience in the industry, Panalux is known for its high-quality products and exceptional customer service. The new office at Pioneer will further strengthen the community growing at the campus and support efforts to attract global productions to Scotland for filming, while enabling Panalux to directly support productions across Scotland and those shooting at the Pioneer Film Studio campus.
The team behind Pioneer Film Studios have been continually adding to the industry community working from the site in Glasgow, Scotland since opening their doors only 10 months ago in April 2022. Following the Pinewood model, Pioneer set out to furnish the 1.2million sq ft campus with a community of industry companies all working from the site servicing Scotland and the UK.
The Scottish film industry continues on an impressive growth trajectory, fuelled by a combination of industry support, infrastructure, supply chain, and creative talent. The industry's steady growth over the past few years has led to a thriving ecosystem for filmmakers, establishing Scotland as a key player in the global film industry.
Pioneer Film Studios now boasts the presence of, Screen Facilities Scotland, Supply2Location, Facilities by ADF, Location One, Freakworks post-production, Film Hawk & now Panalux.
