This year the Mental Health Foundation is using their Mental Health Awareness Week to shine a spotlight on one of the most common mental health issues faced by people today. Anxiety affects over 8million people at any one time, in the UK alone.
The Film and TV Charity are raising awareness of this initiative and providing support for everyone working in a behind the scenes role in film, TV or cinema. This includes freelancers and people working in production, but also anyone working in distribution, marketing, sales or any other back-office role.
If you are feeling anxious, or if you need support with anything that’s worrying you, the Film and TV Charity can help. Their advisers are on hand to be a listening ear, and to provide you with support. Get in touch by phone on 0800 054 0000 or via the chat function on their website here. All services mentioned are free, confidential and available 24/7.
