About The Role
Based in the Film and Media discipline in the Cambridge School of Creative Industries, your principal role will be to carry out teaching and to provide academic supervision across undergraduate degrees. You’ll be expected to design and develop teaching materials for a range of modules. Film and Media is a thriving multi-disciplinary department, with world-leading research, committed to research-informed teaching. Our Faculty is home to first class teaching and research across both traditional and contemporary disciplines. All our courses are committed to the mutual reinforcement of theory and practice and are grounded in our academics’ innovative and internationally recognised research.
With a Completed Doctorate In a Relevant Academic Discipline, And Teaching Experience, You’ll Have The Potential To Contribute Towards The Development Of Film And Media Studies At ARU. We Are Particularly Interested In Candidates Who Can Contribute To Existing Teaching And Research Strengths In The Following Areas
Digital cultures and social media
Contemporary TV and television studies
Film studies, including documentary films
With a research profile commensurate with the stage of your career, you will contribute to the thriving research activities of the discipline. A track record of academic publication is essential for this role. An interest in helping to shape the degrees through curriculum development is also desirable.
