We are looking for a highly motivated business affairs professional to join our team at FilmChain CAM as a Senior Business & Legal Affairs. The ideal candidate would be based out of London, but with days worked remotely from home.
The candidate will have an overarching understanding of production, financing and sales agreements. They will be responsible for negotiating and drafting collection account management agreements with producers, financiers, sales agents, guilds, talent and representatives. They will also be drafting various other documentation, such as payment instruction letters and security agreements.
They will have advanced knowledge of MS Word and be numerically literate with good knowledge of Excel.
They will have a good understanding of the independent film and TV industry, with a preferred experience in financing and sales, and an understanding of distribution contracts.
They will have a Bachelor's degree in Law, and Media Law is a bonus.
They will be tech-oriented to communicate and support the technology aspect at FilmChain, and an interest in legal tech is a bonus.
They will be a team player contributing to the expansion of an innovative business with teams in the UK, Europe and the US.
