International Film Sales Executive

A24 is looking for a Film Sales Executive to join the International team. As a key member of the sales team, you will focus on first run film sales, should have a demonstrated interest and ability in selling across a diverse film slate, and have strong established relationships with international distributors.

We are open to candidates based in NYC, Los Angeles, or London.  This role requires frequent global travel.

Initial responsibilities

• Run comprehensive international sales valuations and devise strategies across film titles and territories
• Build and maintain strong relationships with international buyers and distributors
• Negotiate and close deals for film rights
• Work with Legal to negotiate and finalize contracts per deal
• Conduct thorough market research to stay informed about industry and audience trends and opportunities
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and pitches
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Film and TV marketplace and content
• Coordinate with internal teams ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and A24 best practices
• Represent A24 at all major film markets and be open to travel to international territories year-round

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in first-run film sales
• Proven experience in film valuation and distribution negotiation
• A passion for films sales and partnership development
• Curious, nimble and a team player
• Solution-orientated and entrepreneurial thinker

• Humble, diligent and resourceful
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently (5 times per year minimum), domestically and internationally
