Laura started her career in photography and then pop promos and commercials whilst working with Terence Donovan. This led to three decades of managing and producing films, drama and documentaries in Australia, Morocco, Mongolia, Iceland, Tunisia, Egypt, US, Canada and Europe. After leaving Vertigo Films as Head of Production, Laura became the Vice President of Production at Universal International Studios where she leads on the studios productions across the globe. Laura feels passionately that the richness and relevance of storytelling can only truly be achieved by embracing and celebrating our differences. To ensure this is true behind the camera, this means inclusive hiring is fundamental.
As part of the EDI committee, Laura aims hopes to work to provide clear, accessible and helpful and standardised hiring guidance to support fully inclusive and standardised hiring practice.
