Producer
Peter Gallagher is a film and television Producer based in Glasgow, Scotland. His career started as a Production Runner before joining the BBC where he worked as an Assistant Floor Manager and then a Production Manager for many years. As a freelancer he has worked in a range of roles, including Location Manager, Assistant Director and Production Manager.
In the role of Line Producer he has been responsible for a range of feature films including Ratcatcher, Unleashed, Stone of Destiny and four films directed by Ken Loach. As a Producer he has been responsible for a number of network TV series including Bedlam, Single Father and Shetland, Eve, Demon Headmaster and Brexit: An Uncivil War.
He has most recently been involved in producing a BFI / BBC Alba Gaelic children’s TV series, Triuir aig Tri, which won an RTS award in 2023. He is currently developing a feature film about the life of Scottish painter Joan Eardley.
