The Helpdesk

Our Members are front and centre of all we do, and we want to hear from you and listen to what your needs are, in a safe space, and on an ongoing basis. The Member Development Helpdesk will allow any Member to book a time slot to talk to us about your professional development.

These initial conversations are designed for us to be a listening ear, to signpost or to find out what extra help members need. We will then follow up as necessary.

In the longer term, Helpdesk will also help PGGB identify areas we can enhance our training and development offering. We hope that these conversations will inspire more targeted training ideas, short courses, masterclass offerings and more, so we can better serve the needs of our Membership as a whole.

Timings

The Member Development Helpdesk will be open every Wednesday afternoon, beginning Wednesday 18th September 2024. There will be three available appointments each week, each lasting 20 minutes.

The slots are at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm every Wednesday. If these slots are not showing, it means they have already been booked.

Who is the PGGB Member Development Helpdesk for?

The Helpdesk is open to all Members of The Production Guild of Great Britain, either full or supplementary.

How does it work?

The initial service will be conducted over the phone with our Head of Talent Development Becky Maynard. If a follow up is needed, these can be arranged individually via email, over zoom, or in person.

You can book appointments up to two weeks in advance, and can include a question you have or subject area you would like to discuss in advance, if helpful. Once you have made a booking, it will automatically appear in your diary, and Becky will call you on the number on your PGGB profile page.

Who should I contact if I have any questions?

Email pg@productionguild.com with the subject ‘Member Development Helpdesk'.
