FilmFixer is one of the UK’s leading film services that handles approximately 8,000 film shoots a year and works with every major production filming in London and South East England.
Devised and delivered by filmmakers, our offer has grown in line with industry and community demand, as UK filming increases. We manage filming for local authorities and private landowners to generate revenue from location filming, make film permitting simple and we boast a location library of over 1,000 filming locations.
Our Local Authority portfolio of 14 London Boroughs includes the central Boroughs of Camden, Islington, Southwark and RBKC. We liaise with stakeholders, communities and filmmakers to promote filming within London and seek opportunities for residents.
Within our Private Clients portfolio, we showcase a variety of locations that welcome filming including The Crown Estate and Crown Estate Paving Commission; heritage properties such as Chiswick House and Gunnersbury Park and Museum; iconic London locations such as Potters Fields Park and Butlers Wharf; as well as the full range of sites managed by Lee Valley Regional Park Authority and the Peabody Group.
Set Ready is our non-profit training and employment programme. In order to connect our local communities to the productions we support, we offer essential training for people wishing to start a career in the film and TV industry.
FilmFixer is committed to reducing air pollution caused by location filming. The Generator Project is our collaborative effort to speed up our industry’s transition to greener methods of power supply. We collect data about generator-usage on-set and promote the use of emerging Battery Technology and advocating for the use of greener power alternatives.
We pioneered online permitting in the UK through our sister company Apply4 Technology. Apply4’s flagship product FilmApp is the global industry standard, servicing film offices around the world, including Miami and Seattle in the US, Auckland and Wellington in New Zealand, and 25 London boroughs.
FilmFixer is proud to deliver Screen Suffolk with the aim of Suffolk being the most film-friendly county in the UK. We offer a ‘one-stop’ film service, from initial enquiry through to crew sourcing and permitting.
