“Back in 1999, The Sopranos was redefining HETV, Netflix had just launched as a DVD home delivery service, we all had Nokia flip phones and David Heyman had just convinced Warner Bros. to buy the rights to Harry Potter - and PGGB was formed. This is my last PGGB event. I’ve been so proud to lead the guild over the last five years - five years that have brought unique challenges including the pandemic, boom and strikes. I’ve been incredibly proud to support all of you.”
Last night we celebrated our 25th anniversary - as well as raising a glass to our outgoing CEO Lyndsay Duthie - at a beautiful reception at The Royal Horseguards Hotel in London.
A huge thanks to Sky Studios Elstree and Equals Money for making this event possible, and to Cinematography World for our wonderful commemorative supplement.
