PGGB CEO Lyndsay Duthie to Depart for New Role at UCA

After nearly 5 years at The Production Guild of Great Britain (PGGB), CEO Lyndsay Duthie will take up a new role at the end of January 2025 as Pro Vice-Chancellor Academic Partnerships and Industry Engagement at University for the Creative Arts (UCA).

During her tenure at PGGB, Lyndsay launched many new initiatives, ensuring the Guild remains in step with broader changes in the film and television industry. She led on the formation of six PGGB Nations & Regions Committees, in line with British Film Commission’s Stage Space Support Development hub centres, to increase support for Members and Partners across the breadth of the UK, and launched the organisation’s first Diversity and Inclusion Action Group and Sustainability Committee.

Lyndsay also secured PGGB’s first Royal Patron, HRH The Duke of Edinburgh, and created an award bearing his name: The Duke of Edinburgh Film and TV Inclusion Award, which is presented annually at PGGB’s Talent Showcase, in association with Walt Disney Studios. Lyndsay also oversaw an increase in business partners and training opportunities, including the £500k Talent Development Fund, helping to grow the Guild and ensure more resources and opportunities for PGGB members, who are at the heart of PGGB.
