PGGB Christmas Reception 2025

What a lovely evening we had at The Royal Horseguards Hotel in London as we came together for our annual PGGB Christmas Reception!

Yesterday, we celebrated the start of the festive season alongside our brilliant Members and Partners – connecting, catching up, and enjoying the opulent interior of a truly iconic venue.

In her speech, PGGB CEO Kaye Elliott mentioned that she is excited to see so many Guild Members and Partners attending the event and that "the Guild is here first and foremost as a support and champion for our Members and Partners. We are a community, here to lift each other up in both the good times and the leaner times, and to be a community for all of you."

"Being a Member means you are at the front of the queue for hirers; that we can support you with a host of resources, to further your career and to make sure you’re looking after yourself; and you can access career support through heavily subsidised and free training, on subjects from AI to production accountancy to an upcoming update on SAG, DGA and the US unions. All of this and so much more for the price of less than a (fancy) cup of coffee a week!"

Chair of PGGB's Board, Bianca Gavin, said that at a time when we’ve gone through a boom and a contraction, and as we begin to see AI transform all that we’re doing, the Guild is so important and relevant in connecting Members and equipping them to be the best. I have such confidence in Kaye, and that we will deliver a new evolving Guild in the next year that is fit for the future of the industry!"

Shadowbox Studios Shinfield's Dean Horne and Beth Gallagher said that this is one of the premier events in the festive calendar, and that they are delighted to be sponsoring this event: "We’re here tonight as Shinfield, but with a twist - one that reflects our new position in the Shadowbox family.
