Filming for The Other Bennet Sister has been taking place on location at Orchard Street, and filming for The Forsytes has been taking place nearby on All Saints Lane, both this week.
The Other Bennet Sister is a ten-part series by the BBC giving a 'fresh spin around the ballroom for one of Jane Austen's most unassuming characters - Mary Bennet', according to the synopsis.
The BBC has commissioned the series from Cardiff-based indie production company Bad Wolf (His Dark Materials, Industry) for BBC iPlayer and BBC One.
Meanwhile, Channel 5 production The Forsytes is set in the late-Victorian era and follows the lives of an upper-class family of stockbrokers across four separate generations.
It stars Dr Who's Millie Gibson and Home and Away's Joshua Orpin. Filming previously took place on the Christmas Steps last year, and a release date has not yet been revealed.
