Looking for work as 1st Assistant Director
About
An experienced Assistant Director, born in London, with a twenty-year stint in Vancouver. Holding both UK and Canadian citizenship.
I began his career participating in productions such as Stanley Kubrick’s Full Metal Jacket and Steven Spielberg’s Empire of the Sun. Alongside my film work I have built up a career in TV, and have experience as a Production Manager and Producer in this field which adds to my skill set. The work I love most – being a First Assistant Director.
With worldwide experience I have expanded my knowledge even further, collaborating with many talented Directors, including Michael Goi on the Netflix show Avatar: The last Airbender, which has been nominated for the 2025 DGA Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Children's Programs.
No Job to big, no Job to small. A strong leader of a quiet, calm and respectful set.
I was previously a member of the Production Guild until I left the UK in 2004.
