About
Became a Location Manager in 1990 - working on Challenge Anneka. Moved into TV Drama in 1992 as a Location Manager on Good Guys. Since then consistently employed as a Location Manager - learning the role on the job. Worked at London Film Commission during its creation 1995-6 and again for three months in 1999. As a location manager I am very proud of some of the extraordinary things we have achieved: Closing one tunnel of Piccadilly underpass to film a traffic jam caused by a car accident with Michael Caine firing a gun for Shiner in 2000; landing a helicopter on the roof of the IPC building whilst another helicopter was flying around filming the scene, creating a traffic jam in Piccadilly and filming a sequence in Hyde Park with the Household Cavalry for Stormbreaker in 2005; creating a flash dance in Piccadilly Circus for Finding Your Feet with several British stars performing a song and dance just before Christmas in 2016.
Never ceases to amaze me how we persuade people to do things they never imagined that they wanted to do - and then loved the experience!
