Prepping January 2014 Based at Bottleyard Studios, Bristol . Filming for 10 weeks from mid-July Vinnie Joneshas signed up to star in the pilot for ABC's upcoming comedy seriesGalavant. Jonesis the first star to be cast in the single-camera project. The musical fairytale series has been written byThe Neighborscreator Dan Fogelman.

Oscar-winning composer Alan Menken has also signed up to write the music for the series, to be produced by ABC Studios.

Galavantfollows the handsome Prince Galavant and his aim to get revenge on the king who stole his true love.

Jones will play a character named Gareth, a tough Scottish henchman serving King Galahad.
