(Besides my usual duties as a Coordinator, I also took on additional higher-level responsibilities. During the scouting stage, I searched for locations myself and organised the scouts. I was communicating our findings directly with the Production Designer to gather feedback and aid him in creating his vision. Throughout the production, I looked after several of my own locations – from initially finding, contracting and leading the recces, all the way through to managing the prep, shoot and strike. I lead the team at a very complex Grade 1 listed manor house location – initially working with the producers to get the contract over the line, and then working inside the house on difficult antique removals, health and safety concerns amongst many other tasks.)
