VFX Production Assistant

The Flying Colour Company is a visual effects facility based in the heart of Soho. We are an independent

company and have established ourselves as one of the leading providers for VFX in London. We specialise in

high-end Visual effects for scripted drama and also feature films.

We are looking to recruit an organised individual to join the team as a VFX Production Assistant.

The VFX Production Assistant is the first point of contact for TFCC acting as front of house so will need to be

punctual and have a positive can do approach combined with an excellent work ethic.

Key responsibilities

• Front of house responsibilities such as answering the intercom and phone
• Making sure clients feel welcome and know where to go when entering the TFCC building
• Managing the office's petty cash and documenting receipts
• Delivering drives to post houses around Soho and logging when the drives leave and enter the building
• Providing support for the managing director, creative director, head of production, producers & coordinators when needed
• Assisting the team with various office and organisational tasks
• Keeping track of office & kitchen supplies, make sure the kitchen is stocked
• Ensuring the reception & lounge / kitchen areas as well as the Studios are always looking flawless and kept presentable for clients & visitors
• Administrative support to the production team, learning the in house production pipeline
• Generating ideas for the TFCC's Instagram page & Company's website blog and posting on a regular basis
• Maintaining the Company website with recent shows & newcomers to the teams

Skills

• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Be able to prioritise multiple tasks for clients, artists and operations whilst staying calm under pressure
• Ideally have a good background knowledge and genuine interest of VFX and Post Production
• Punctual and have a positive, proactive approach combined with an excellent work ethic
• Computer literacy skills with a good understanding of Excel
• A positive upbeat attitude with great interpersonal skills
