UK-Based Development & Packaging Producer (Film & Television)

We are seeking an experienced, UK-based Producer to join our platform on a freelance, project-by-project basis. 

This role is ideal for a producer with strong creative instincts, a deep understanding of the UK and international marketplace, and proven experience overseeing development, packaging projects, and taking them out to buyers. The successful candidate will play a hands-on role in guiding projects from early development through packaging, sale, and into production. This producer will work closely with writers, directors, and our internal team to shape material, position it strategically for the market, and maximize its commercial and creative potential. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development process for select film and television projects on the platform Guide projects from early concept through packaging, ensuring clarity of vision and market readiness.
• Lead the creation of pitch materials, including decks, written materials, and overall narrative positioning.
• Collaborate closely with writers, directors, and internal stakeholders to refine story, tone, and buyer appeal.
• Strategically package projects, including attaching meaningful creative elements and talent where appropriate.
• Actively shop projects to UK and international buyers, financiers, studios, networks, and streamers Represent projects professionally in meetings, pitches, and follow-ups.
• Remain attached as a Producer through sale and into production, as applicable Qualifications Demonstrated experience as a Producer on film and/or television projects.
• Strong background in development, packaging, and pitching projects to the marketplace.
• Solid understanding of the UK industry, with awareness of international co-production and financing landscapes.
• Existing relationships with buyers, financiers, broadcasters, streamers, agencies, or talent (preferred).
• Excellent storytelling, presentation, and communication skills.
• Highly organized, strategic, and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with creative teams.
• Compensation Paid freelance fees for development, packaging, and shopping projects.
• Continued compensation as a Producer through production, on a per-project basis.
