Their confidential and impartial support helps professionals across the industry, from production assistants to studio execs. They’ve developed a unique portfolio of services, tailored for those working in the screen sector.
Whether they’re providing practical help to lift people out of immediate need, or advice to head off problems before they arise, the charity’s aim is to ensure that people feel able to remain and thrive in the industry, regardless of their circumstances and background. At the most recent count, they’re providing support to over 200,000 people, with a focus on mental and physical health, financial wellbeing, and equity and inclusion.
Upcoming retirements have created an exciting opportunity to join their effective and high-performing Board. The profile we seek in this appointment is extensive senior experience in the UK film production sector, to enhance insights and network into this industry.
Candidates will bring specialist knowledge, great networks and ideally a working understanding of charity governance and the role of a trustee. Strong commercial, policy or administrative experience would be an asset, as would a track record of developing income streams.
